Our 2009-2010 season was highlighted by our joint concert with the New Amsterdam Singers, an upper west side institution which we share a performance space with. Also, old friend Maxine Neuman joined us again for a performance of the Lalo concerto, and Guerguan Tsenov made his first appearance as guest conductor.
The 2006-2007 season featured several special programs, including a Halloween concert, an all-Brahms program and a fully staged production of Mozart’s “The Impresario.”
The 2005-2006 season was highlighted by Diane Wittry leading a concert of music on Scottish themes, with music of Bruch, Maxwell-Davies, and Mendelssohn. Also the Brahms “Double Concerto,” the “Classical” Symphony of Prokofiev, and the epic Mozart Piano Concerto No. 24.
